Selena Britton, professionally known as Sew Fire Selena, is a U.S. Army veteran, licensed cosmetologist, entrepreneur, educator, and mother of two with a passion for beauty and empowering others.

Her journey began in childhood, inspired by watching her mother’s hairstyling talent. In 2014, while stationed in Hawaii, Selena took a leap of faith and pursued her passion professionally. She built a loyal clientele, gained recognition for her work, and refined her craft at Paul Mitchell The School Honolulu before returning to her hometown of Montgomery, Alabama.

Following the unexpected loss of her beloved mother, Selena became even more determined to build a legacy rooted in purpose, perseverance, and excellence.

Today, she is the owner of Custom Crowns®, a luxury hair brand, and SWANK Salon, a professional salon in Montgomery, Alabama. Through Custom Crowns Academy, she extends her expertise beyond the salon by educating wig enthusiasts and hairstylists through training, tutorials, and digital education.

Guided by her belief that a woman's hair is her crown and glory, Selena is building a business ecosystem centered on beauty, education, confidence, and legacy—all while honoring the woman who first inspired her journey.
